Sand Cast Chunky Sterling Silver Band

Using ancient traditions, this beautiful chunky sterling silver band is formed. 
 
A wax ring is sculpted, then pushed into sand, molten silver is then poured into the mould leaving you with a unique textured band. 
 
Why not post some sand from a perosnal place? 
This band is very popular as a wedding band, where couples post me sand from a beach special to them. I then add the sand into the mould so its within the band, while also leaving textured marks from the sand.
